For years the Vomero has lived in the shadow of its extremely popular sibling, the Nike Zoom Pegasus. Now, with the addition of a beautifully designed React foam midsole and a sleek upper, Nike has brought the Vomero out of the shadows and into the spotlight! 

To create a ride that was noticeably softer and snappier than the Pegasus, designers took React foam from the Nike Epic React and combined it with a full-length Zoom Air unit.

The stunning curvature of the midsole also helps to guide your foot towards a more efficient stride. This is really going to come in clutch during the later miles of your long run when your feet start to tire. Moving on to the upper, we continue to see features that balance comfort and performance. The sleek mesh upper is engineered for support and durability. In the midfoot, the lacing system creates a fit that feels like the shoe was built specifically for you. By adding a notched tongue and foam pods in the heel, Nike’s designers have pulled out all the stops to bring the Vomero 14 to a whole new level.
